“Web 2.0 Is F*Cked”

"The end of Web 2.0 and the dawn of a new age of individualism, driven primarily by Twitter".

First impression: bit of an overstatement. And - is twitter not based on and driven by web2.0? Agree with Marcus Ogawa: "Culture is often labeled as a time period, but its influences will always be eternal... It’s not “fucked” its just going to be folded into the every changing culture and reintroduced as mainstream elements."

StevePB: "I find it shocking and fundamentally disconcerting that from Keen’s diatribe (and most of the comments) that something (e.g. Web 2.0 site/tool/product) has to generate revenue in order to be worthwhile."

And Web 2.0 does generate profit, it just doesn’t flow to all the players in the right way yet. The formulas will change. Apple and AT&T are making money from Web 2.0 - Facebook and Youtube drove a lot of iPhone sales. Web 2.0 enabled this ecosystem

Enough stating the obvious.. what am i gonna wear to the F1 party tomorrow eve?
